R6 rear master cylinder

#1 Post by Ollies930 » Thu Jan 08, 2015 11:01 pm

My stock rear master cylinder is shot and I was wondering if anybody knows if a late model R6 master cylinder has the same bolt pattern(and I realize that there are two different bolt patterns, straight and offset). The R6 ones are plentiful and cheap on ebay and seem like an easy enough replacement. Just might have to swap linkage rods to get proper length.

The one you want looks like it has the same bolt pattern, but you have to slightly file out the top hole to get it to fit (maybe 2mm).

R1 4XV (98 >2001) has the same bolt pattern. The pusher is shorter but can be swapped for the RZ one. I did this when my RZ master was beyond a refurb.
