11/12mm front brake master cylinder

#1 Post by tobster » Fri May 08, 2015 8:46 am

Hi
I'm looking for an 11 or 12mm front brake master cylinder to run a single blue spot caliper. Anyone know which bikes/models I should look for that have this unit???
Thanks

Look up OEM Brembo's. This one's a 13.

thanks and it is nice but 13mm is really too big. I suppose i should just look at "modern" bikes with single disc and multipiston caliper....

I run an newer Aprilia rs125 radial master with a single r1/r6 blue spot caliper.
Not sure of the bore size, but works spot on for me. Good braking power with tons of feel.

Possibly.. But in my experiences Mike's 'stuff' is of acceptable quality, even the Clone bits.
Ask them?

I've managed to find a master cylinder off a 2014 Aprilia RS125 which apparently has 12 written on it (which I hope means 12mm) so I'll see how that feels. Fingers crossed...my current set up with a 1/2" unit (1987 Yamaha TZR125) is too wooden for my liking.
