Way to identify suspension components

#1 Post by savethe2strokes » Mon Jul 13, 2015 10:20 am

I just recently bought a RZ350 that has newer suspension and 17" wheels. I am trying to identify what parts were used. The rear swingarm looks to be aluminum and similar to an FZ or FZR swinger. I'm trying to figure out what clip ons were used and if I could get some taller ones.

The fairing mounts are missing the little plastic shims to hold it up. I need to talk to someone about getting those pieces.

Aren't those stock forks and triples? Also looks like you have mixed a full fairing F2 with the gauges from the earlier F1?

The front suspension is from the FZR600 for sure, I know because I have one.

Did the FZR600 ever come with a 17" rear wheel?

No the FZR 600 rear wheel was 18" but can fit a wider tyre size and better rubber than stock.

No, not bad at all, just more tire choice with a 17 inch. Because almost all the new bikes run 17`s.
