Conti Classic Attack Radials

#1 Post by DRC » Sat Nov 28, 2015 11:41 am

Has anyone tried these? They come in a 90/90 18 and a 110/19 18

It would be interesting to see if there is any improvement over a standard bias ply tire

Here's a review on them from another 2-stroke website: http://www.2strokeworld.com/forum/index ... ic=25786.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

No 1st hand experience but Ive heard several friends just love em. The Conti classic attack race CR tires were just kicking ass in vintage racing a few years ago. People were going bat shit over them. When reading the specs I dont really see two many reasons one should not give them a try. Ive you run them post a 1st hand review here.

We r gonna try these next year. They would seem to be a wicked choice. Only downside is the price. They are a wee bit spendy.

Avon AM126 is worth considering. A very good tire with great reviews in the 2T community. I recently bought a few sets. Have them on my RZ500 now and the difference is amazing, especially compared to the BT45s. I also have them on my TZR and will put them on my NS400R in the spring.

Best prices on tires is Pete's Superbike in Quebec. I can buy 2 sets and with shipping it's about the same cost as one set here.

Plus 1 for the Avons. I love them on my RZ and they will be replacing the BT45s on the remainder of my 2 strokes as the BTs wear out...

I found the Conti Classic Attack radials on sale on CanadasMotorcycle.com for $340 a set with free shipping. We bought two sets to try on the LC and RZ.

If they are anything like the Road Attack they should be wicked, sticky as all hell right to the cords and long lasting. I love Contis.
