The RZ lines will fit the triumphs, thats what I used...

Not really wanting to wade in really, pretty much either setup will be better than OEM RZ, so all good :)

Glad I didn't order the OEM parts. The TZR set up will save me a lot of running around.

In case anyone's interested, when I have both set ups I'll drop them on a scale and compare weights.

hmmm... just noticed this thread. thanks for the kind words gents.

$ wise, it is worth noting that my master is also NEW oem. The calipers don't come up too often and they cost me 350 landed from the UK... My whole setup cost me $500 to build two years ago... the triumphs were an option, but I wanted all yam... gives me the warm-fuzzies.

also, anyone doing a 4-pot upgrade, I would recommend organic pads instead of sintered. they soften the blow...

when I had the brakes i sold john on my bike it stopped scarey quick....one finger lever, ass-pucker quick... remember how lightweight these bikes are.

i had organic pads on my 250 with tzr 4 pots
at the track days the brakes were no good , on the road they were ok ish
sintered pads and now they try to rip your face off

you ideally want tzr/fzr or nissin claipers with a R6 /R1/tzr/fzr nissin master , thats how yamaha did them
all of the import 250s have the calipers you need so they are cheap here tzr 3ma 3xv , fzr250, 400 and heaps of others
