Hi all, having a bit of trouble finding some tubes for a 350n, any links or advise would be great, plenty on ebay but listed mainly by year. The part no. on the lowers is Y106-L SA-1 air valves at top and a variable damper sticker on lowers, i believe they are the same as F1? is this correct? and are there any others that are the same. Cheers Bill

Bill. I had 5 sets of forks in my basement so I have some experience with how they appear although maybe not how they properly operate. I beleive all of the 1983-90 forks had air nipples on the top.

The Early 83-85USD ones have the bolt location for the front fender perp to the fork legs and about a third of the way down the tubes. The air nipple on the top is at an approx 45 degree angle.

The 96-90 forks have the fender bolts parallel to the legs and at the top. The air nipple is oriented in the same direction as the fork tubes. 83-85 are all the same as are 86-90.

OffRoad has swapped between the inners in these things so he may have info to that regard.

And there you have it....

That 83 fork looks odd with the top of the sliding tube machined. Never seen one like that!

The later RZ forks (1986 on?) do not have threaded fork caps.
They have a circlip to retain the caps just like the 4L0 RDLC did.
We race RDs, RDLCs, RZs, TZRs, TDRs and TZs at PCRA
