Are RZ350 brake and clutch levers a universal fit?

#1 Post by Bullwinkle » Tue Mar 15, 2016 11:11 am

So I need new levers for my 87' RZ, all I can seem to find is parts that specify the levers are for 82'-84'. Are they a universal fit does anyone know? Thanks In advance for any help, cheers

The Clutch levers are the same for all years of the RZ350.

The Brake levers for the 83/84 RZ's is different than the 85+ bikes.

The 85+ RZ's use the same brake lever as the 88/89 FZR400.

The OEM Yamaha part number for the FZR brake lever is 36Y-83922-00.

Haven't got it exactly in my mind, but I know at least two versions of levers.
The 31K (=48H) with the standard handlebar has different levers than the later 1WW (=F2) models with clip ons.
