RZ250RR Top Clamp on RZ350 US Model?

Anyone know if this will work? From what I can find they are both 35mm forks. Was thinking the fork spacing would be the same as well.

Saw a RZ250RR Top Clamp on eBay for $25, wanted to use for when I get Clip-Ons possibly.

I just replaced the top clamp on a '87 RZ350 with one off an US model RZ. I suspect you could do the opposite and install a top clamp from a later RZ on the US model.

I wonder if a later model RZ top clamp with clip ons could keep the same headlight/cluster mounting.

That's really what my goal was. To Keep the Stock Mounting for everything but find a top clamp that would work so I could install clip-ons. I'm afraid the RZ250RR doesn't have all the mounting built in to the clamp.

Not exactly , the top mounting points are different but with small brackets you can do it easily , I have a 1985 CDN with this top clamp and a 1983 H.L. bracket for bikini fairing .
85 + use longer fork tubes , factory clip on goes on top not under .

2nd Zedixe13's comment. My front end was very tall with aftermarket clip ons until I realized there should be enough fork through the upper triple from the original clip on position.
