Nawwww. Chinese have gotten remarkably good at the Cosmetic appearances of their Crap.
Phizer says that Fake Viagra pills can now be identified because they are Too Perfect looking... better than Phizer's own :-).
Still contain 'Any thing' as ingredients though
Metallurgy and Plastics seems as unknown to them .. still... at least at the Clone level of Mfg.
Small hope of things improving in the near future.
Japanese initially had Crap products too.. but they 'caught on' ...surprisingly quickly.

I just wonder how much stuff we buy and bolt onto our bikes that is made in China?
I'm sure a lot of stuff is reboxed or sold as a brand that does not distinguish where it came from.

I just wonder how much counterfeit stuff I've bought and not known.

Not worried about my BST wheels, but I'd hate to think I paid top dollar for nickel-plated Biembos. :smt104

As long as the, "factory" workers keep coming from the fields, China's quality will suffer.
Funny the Japanese comment as the bike is well, you know !
After wwII Japan was crippled and rose from the ashes like a phenix to the powerhouse it is today.
China will NEVER see the same success, EVER , their culture is the difference.
Oh, Hong Kong is not representative of mainland China.
