Seat options

I'm looking for seat options. I'm going to keep the stock tank and bodywork. Has anyone cut down the foam and recovered the seat? I want to fit more into the bike instead of sitting on top of it because the seat is so tall. Please share some information and photos if you have them.

Did it for my VTR and RD350 and it works fine.

Important thing is the spray glue from 3M - also tried cheaper stuff and that was crap!
Also used very soft goat leather which was prone to bleaching in the sun.
