Interesting ..

when i looked up the replacement rubbers from yamaha-motor.ca

I got 2GH-27413-00.

I ordered a pair and they are no where near correct.

Im quite confused

I have an 88, and the pic looks right. I will have to confirm the part number.

Those do look like 88 footrests but i think yours may have been cut down or rounded off?

Ok, you need to give us pics of the poor fit, just saying you're confused isnt the way forward here... I'll repeat again, I think your footpegs may be cut down, but if youre problem is that the screw holes are off or the rubbers are too wide, then you need to show pics and tell us that is the issue, we are not mind readers... :)

of course, someone could well have changed the footrests to some that look 'right' in your pic, but are from another bike. Its been 30 years....

I thought the peg rubbers had mounting holes on top for two screws.

Yes, the early ones have captive bolts, the later ones have holes...

The part number is correct. And there are mounting holes on top. Confused myself. Thinking you either have aftermarket parts, or an 85 or older part out on.

And the parts fiche clearly shows 2 pan head screws for mounting. [emoji189]

The rubbers I have fit those pegs you posted .

So going back to my original post (with pictures of my pegs )

Looks like someone changed my pegs at some point , so they are not stock .

Um, no. LoL But the don't look like anything from 85 or below either. They were wider and stubbier.

What do you want for the rubber? I could take them off your hands.
