Ride Height Measurement Request
I need someone to measure the height with the bike on the centerstand. I think a good enough reference point would be the centre of the seat lock keyhole to the ground. If you could also measure how much clearance you have under the rear tire with the bike on the stand I can reference it back to what I had. I have installed an RGV rear end and in my excitement to finish I forgot to take reference measurements for ride height before I removed the stock parts. I have a height adjustable shock so I want to get it close to what I had before with an R6 shock before I tighten everything up and put the pipes back on. Thanks!

Tire size should also be noted.
Sorry Russ, my bike does not have a centre stand.

Yes, I was assuming stock tires but that would be relevant. A measurement sitting on the tires would work too, I just figured the centerstand would take out the hassle of trying to hold it vertical and take a measurement at the same time.

Re: Ride Height Measurement Request
Mine is 76mm from the key hole to the ground. Stock size tires. 1UA rear shock.
I didn"t know if you wanted the measurement with the rear wheel on the ground or not. Here's a picture of what I did. used a fishing line and a weight to gauge it. Frickin pic is sideways?! I'm not a computer guy nor a mechanic.

Thanks man, I assume you mean 760. What sort of gap do you have from the rear tire to the ground?

Yes right, 760mm or 76cm. Sorry, another reason why I shouldn't give mechanical advice.
I remeasured with the wheel touching the ground and it came out 71cm.I measured from the middle of the key slot.
