I'm fitting KR1S wheels !!
I was going to fit a KR1S front wheel and an Aprilia rear wheel as that is a 17 incher and the KR rear wheel is an 18 incher :smt010
It has been done with the Aprilia wheel and the cush needed machining and the rear sprocket bolted to the inside of the cush drive !!

Pah! Ive never liked em on LCs... seem a few, and that blue one looks good, but most others i didnt like at all. On the other forum a few seemed to be a little upset when i took off my mock up wheels off my LC and went for the RGV 3 spokes... I only had the wires on there for testing and build purposes, but i guess everyone is a bit bored of RGV rims?

Aaron Check out Socccersmyths build on Norbos forum, under Rebuilds. He explains what he has done there to get em to fit.

Hi Jon, is there anyway you can post a link to this build thread? I have searched for it to no avail.

Best,
Joe

Wow, old thread LOL!

There is also a bit of an RGV theme in the advice section of that forum as well. and I did it to my bike in my LC421 build on my website. Wheels..., well most stick with RGV cos they work with the RGV stuff.

I have read somewhere that a SV650 rear wheel with a GS500 sprocket carrier fits a RGV swinging arm. This is what i may do, as i have ZXR400 front forks fitted and they have straight spokes like SV's.

you can mix n match with the suzuki stuff, the wheels, carriers etc dont know that they belong to an RGV or GS etc. In fact the GSX400 (and other) fronts are 3.5 not 3.0 like most RGV wheels etc.
