Thanks Jon :smt023 I'm enjoying every minute the build of both two bikes
and honestly do not want them to finish fast.

Have come to a conclusion that I'm a bike project addict :smt005 and in need of a project bike running in my life.
The hunting down parts , search on the net , thinking of ideas how to proceed , dealing with the problems that occur etc..... gets me excited.
The only downside is if you keep track of the money being spent which sum up quickly .
You know what I mean you've been down the same road too. Like all of us in this forum.

For example whats keeping me back from a RZ project is that parts prices have increased HUGE lately
and some parts getting really rare with redicilous prices and I know my self that I will get really wild and end up to a cc stroker.

I'm receiving back on Monday 21/Nov the 400 frame from powder coat and want to finish off both bikes together so
proceeding slow.

Soon both bikes on display.

Looks amazing and.... FUN!

Totally agree about needing a project in your life for mental health, the process of finding parts and working on the bikes keeps us sane :)

You have some really cool places to ride too- just the place to open it up and powerslide all over the place!
Maybe you need a big 2-stroke (coughMaicocough) to balance out all that 4-strokiness.. :smt003

I think Petros should build a project 2 stroke motard... one that will take a bunch of time and money, ie fit the RZ motor with big cyls and whack it in an enduro frame. Its what i was doing with my KTMaha, but the project faltered due to the local registration rules. I may have another go at it, but I fear it might only ever be a track bike. Some guy in the UK did one for hillclimbs (was in PB mag i think), worked amazingly well. That all assumed Petros loves riding a motard... but i think we already know the answer to that ;)

why settle for a 250 suzuki when you can go huge with the rz/shee bottom end?

Jon , I've been thinking about this some time now , here is a project I've been following on supermotojunkie forum ,
WR450 frame fitted a RD 350 LC engine. Not a bad idea if you consider that the 4L0 delivers good kick off power band due to non power valve.

http://supermotojunkie.com/showthread.p ... aha-350-2t" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look where he fitted the rad ?? like the banshee :smt005 :smt005 can't wait to see how he will fit exhausts on there.

Hope link opens and no need to register.

im a member of SMJ so no problem for me to see it, mental build. Not how I would do it (cradle etc), but then my project faltered so who am I to talk lol.

I expect he's also using what he had around or could find locally. My view is that the RZ motor is more useful in this application otherwise why bother, i mean the LC is no powerhouse when you see the PV stats, and we all know how upgradable the RZ platform is compared to the venerable LC. The rad placement looks mental and I dunno if there is enough area for the air to flow out the back there as everything behind looks to block it... and it looks LC to me, the 'shee rad is taller than it is wide IIRC. I agree, Im keen to see how he does the pipes, as he says, the downpipes most people use ruin the look, its up pipe or no pipe IMHO!

I always love a project like this tho, i will watch it as well :)

Here was mine for a refresher:

http://2smoked.com/KTMaha_-_Half_KTM_25 ... rmoto.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

...maybe i should have another look at this since ive already cut the frame and have a spare RZ set of cases in my stash... i just dont see me racing it tho and its big investment for a bike to just sell on at a loss. Tho there will be joy in the build of course :D
