Copied over from 500 side...

Today I put the gold tuning forks on the tank. It took me about an hour to decide placement.

I was able to get someone to cover oncall duties for a couple hours so a short ride in beautiful 70 degree weather sure was nice.

Some local phone photos.

Had to do about 100 yards of dirt riding to get this one. I think the blimp will be heading over to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara shortly.

Thanks for the compliments fellas! I really appreciate it. :smt002

Charlie, I hope to get out for a ride this coming weekend with the GoPro.

I have 2 RAM mounts kind of permanently mounted on my thrasher that I use for the GoPro. The problem with this bike and the R1 is I have a hard time finding a good place to mount the GoPro. I rigged a mount that can clamp onto the mirror but it shakes quite a bit. Maybe I will break down and stick one of the sticky mounts on my helmet. :smt018 Just maybe.

i think there is a mount that uses the cap heads from the filler surround. (assuming its an aircraft style filler)

Ken ,
what can I say about your 500 :smt007 :smt020 , one of the best modern examples out there and you know what ,
my hat off to you because you ride and enjoy your bikes ,
believe it or not I was observing yesterday those photos for over an hour.

Also I follow all your riding videos ............ some I view twice and more. Nice calm riding skills :smt002 .

Petros,

Thank you so much for the compliments. :smt008

It's a good damn thing you do not have a mechanical speedometer on that GSXR. You would be blowing springs and gears out of the thing.

Google tells me when you maxed out your speedo at 299 kmh (and you were still going), that seems to equal approximately 185.79 mph. [smilie=eek.gif]

With all due respect bro, I must say, “The Petros” is nucking futs. [smilie=dunno.gif]

It's nice to see you hanging around here a bit. :smt006

Stay safe.
