sounds great .
350LC,Athena 392 big bore,stock porting,swiss cheese air box,stock reeds,spec11 pipes.(now TSA big bore pipes)
She might not be pretty but she will always be a fun ride

I bet you have a hard time convincing some that it's an '85.

You're welcome! You've done a splendid job. Unfortunately, that's what all of those 500s need. A total make over. I bet it's much nicer to ride than a stock unit.

once bike is running.... on idle you can manually hold the fuel pump arm on full.... to fill lines ... or use a syringe to prime them...

whats the plan with the tank... blue ???

That's a very nice take on our beloved RZ500, wraped in modern hardware and fully modernize . Great job on an awesome build.

Stunning. Modern styling looks good on the old gal. Certainly better than stock as to me it always looked a bit too heavy. My dream bike would be something very similar to this-

Yeah, this is my idea of a build - modernizing a classic. To me, this is what it's all about (just my preference).

Excellent job. Build looks solid and I like your choices to boot.
