Agreed. Cheapest racer I'll probably ever find. I thought Aprilla made a RS125 also.

They do. The Aprilias can be street legal althought many of them were not put through the process due to cost. Aprilia makes a newer RSV125 as well.

The Honda is the one you want though...much higher performance. I believe a Honda RS250 held the lap record at Racecity here in Calgary.

I'm 6'0 & 190lbs, it would be utterly hopeless.
If it were a 250 If force myself into a diet to lose 25 lbs...lol
A friend bought a non running one years ago, cylinder head was $2500.00, crank was over 2k a set of new pistions was also like 1500.00 bucks, needless to say he traded it. Expensive toys. His mechanic has a 1990 TZ 250 right now, but it priced kinda high, unknown past and parts are just too dammed expensive for my budget.

I'd fit on it proper but where would I use it? Living on an island has its down sides - meaning zero track availablity unless I cart it onto a ferry approximately for a $600 round trip. I'd seriously consider this puppy but could use the $$ for the projects currently.

At this point in that bikes life and for that price, I'd use it as a static display. Can't say it would ever be valuable, but certainlly you'd never lose $ on it. Too expensive ro maintain and too old to run seriouslly. For 1/2 the price of your average used RZ you could have a great pc of history, from the greatest 2 stroke manufactuer.

We have much the same issue LC...no track local. I would love to buy one but it would end up on the street with some shady title and eventually a broken frame from realworld road bumps.

This guy was advertising a whole slew of Japanese two stroke track bikes. A Walter Wolf 400 and others. All looked really nice but no American titles so track only maybe?
