Very nice, I guess that explains the want ad for air cooled cases. Did you make the aluminum spigots too are were they purchased?
Re: A day in the office
I make them here....it's the only way with a nozzled exhaust duct. Still looking for cases if ya have any!!!!!

Outstanding work!
I could pick your pipes out of a line-up of pipes any day.
One of the most beautiful pipes money can buy.

Re: A day in the office
Very nice mate as usual
Re: A day in the office
How come your stainless pipes look so different from other stainless pipes?
Most that I've seen have a gold bead without much color change.
Sometimes the color changing on your pipes looks kind of blue. Maybe it's the lighting.
Whatever you're doing, it's amazing!

Re: A day in the office
They are just CR4 mild steel....my Miller don't have pulse so I don't get involved in make Stainless Pipes
Re: A day in the office
I thought they might be mild steel, but they are so shiney, I was fooled.
Actually, it's more impressive. They look WAY better than other mild steel pipes.
Very interesting. My 2 favorite pipes are your mild steel pipes and Kenny's [non-stainless] pipes. Kenny uses a different kind of steel than most others and his pipes also have a beautiful and unique appearance.
Never thought I would prefer mild steel over stainless!

Re: A day in the office
When I first started making pipes back in the UK I used a plated CR4.... the plating was zintec, this plated sheet I found by sheer fluke. I can't remember which project Kenny and myself where working on but I know I made the pipes and he quite liked the finish. I believe this is the plate Kenny uses now, I just can't find the same stuff in North America.
I must have 10 different sheets that I was told is the same but it's not, Zintec welded real nice and didn't rust.... paint would bond to it good and it plated well so I just use mild now :)

Re: A day in the office
Hi slinger, could you PM me for your pipe pricing? I'd love to have a set sent out to me here in Calgary. I'd also love it if you could make me a set of LC pipes, straight out the back of an RZ frame.
