Think I have a spare rear shock here you can have for cost of shipping if you want it. Likely have a front fender for that Slingshot and i'm not sure if the slingshot cams were compatible but I *thought* people ran the slingshot cams in the 1100 bandit motors. Regardless I likely have a set of those too. Likely have most of a set of bodywork minus the upper as well. Let me know if any interest.

That 750 frame was fun, nice and aggressive seating position and they looked great.

Let me know. They are just sitting around as I sold my 88 750. Father still has a 89 in red. Fun bikes. Not many around anymore.

The S1000RR rear shock bolts right in to the slingshot frame. Same dimensions.

I'm going to be using a 05-06 CBR600RR shock I think. There is one on the red bike in the pic and it handles nice. Bolt-on too.

Picked up another donor. Unfortunately the fairings won't fit like I had hoped, but plenty of good parts. I'm keeping the tank, wheels and rearsets for the project. Engine and frame will be kept for future projects. Front end, fairings, lights and pipe are getting kijijied.

Great stuff nokturnal!
Had a slingshot back in the day, and my buddy had a 7/ll. Rode it a couple of times, thing was raw and a beast!
Also knew a guy that built a 7/ll from a RR. It's still around on the track. I think the current owner's name is "Moe".

The latest donor is actually an 88 750 :smt027 , but the one in the pic there is a 91 US model, 1127.

Thanks Ren! Hope things are well with you. I had an 89 1100 at one point. It pulled like a train.

It looks like I may have two builds on the go... :smt030 an 1127 1100 framed bike, and an 88 750 framed hi-comp 1109 (prev 1052). The 88 7/11 will be the longer term build I think. The 1100 will be easy to get on track this year.

Eventually I think I will only have one, and a spare engine. Once the 1109 is ready, I will dismantle the 1127 to do some "engine work"...

A guy at work has an '85 750 that he is talking about selling. It was the preview bike that Suzuki brought in for all the shows and magazines before they imported them. It is not a museum piece, but is all there and running.

Making some slow progress... more in the name of garage cleanup, but I will take it! Test fitted the seat/tail unit and snapped a progress pic.

The engine is in. The fox shock is rebuilt. New racetech springs (not in yet) for the forks. Swapped the 91 wheels over (180 rear).

Next step will be removing the alternator and building a race harness.
