Looks cool, but not sure that it would clear my glasses.
With the shark vision R I have no issues with glasses.
When it's very hot I have the internal shield down and the clear one up. That's just as fresh as a jet helmet.

Good to know. :smt023

More progress.

New handlebar installed. The previous bar was cut down 1.5 inches (for lane-splitting). Since I'm not sure what caused the crash, I left this bar uncut for possible better control.

New grips and new aluminum throttle tube installed. Also found a red billet brake lever clamp which has a teflon insert. Supposed to allow it to pivot in a crash. Bought it for the Lamb but it wouldn't work with the new reservoir bracket.

I knew the rear brake lever tip was grinded, but just found out the lever was bent and hitting the rear master bracket. I was just going to add an aftermarket toe tip. Instead, I added a new lever to the parts list. I should of looked for an aftermarket lever, but none was available last time I checked - and I need to get this bike going soon! Will be riding with no rear brake temporarily.

Lever blades arrived from ASV.

Clutch lever matches well enough, but the brake lever has a different finish and construction.

I'd like to get a new clutch lever with a dial adjuster to match the brake lever, but I'll settle for the same brake lever I had before. Just hope I can get a matching pair.

Installed a steering damper.

Not happy because the new bar mounts/risers are ugly as shit compared to what I had. Might be able to modify them in the future. Also the new handlebar I got is now way too high. Need to get another set of bars. :smt012

Interesting billet clamp that holds the stabilizer pin. The bad news is - if I want to remove the fuel tank - a shitload of parts have to come off the bike.

And I always thought you live in a country where all bikers look like this:

That's a great shot of Kenny. Any idea how recent that is?

I have to replace the front wheel.

I really want this:

Unfortunately, I don't think Marchesini makes wheels for the WR250X. Also, I've never seen blue Marchesini wheels on any supermoto bike.

I have seen these wheels on a couple of WR250Xs, though. Got a feeling they were custom fitted.

I need to replace the wheel(s) fast, so not sure what I'll be able to do.

Getting better slowly. Neuro consult pending. Not sure if I need neck surgery now. ( I vote NO!! )

When I buy expensive shit, I always ask my peeps at Friendly Yamaha of Baton Rouge to buy it for me. They've given me the best prices on hundreds of cool bike parts. They can't always get big discounts, but I know they try. They've set up accounts with a lot of companies just to get my parts. Last time they set up an account with QTMI -but now they don't sell Marchesini.

Got an email from Cat at Friendly. She said they're setting up an account with a new company to get the Marchesini wheels. Also said Blue is a special order and costs extra. All orders from Marchesini factory take longer during summer months because they don't give a fuck. 4 to 12 weeks, but probably longer.

The wheels on my bike aren't damaged after the crash. I just want the bike to be better, stronger, faster.

Like the 6 Million Dollar Man.

Just got an email about the new wheels:

"Hi Pete,
TAW just notified me that the expected ETA is most likely going to be
October. Are you still ok with that?"

Shit- they're not gonna be here that soon! :smt003

I better hurry up and get the Lamb ready to ride.

The bad news is it hurts my neck - just sitting on it.
