Nice!

I was at LBs place the other week and saw the parts and good work done on this machine. Its really not far off now and will be wonderful when done. The owner should be very happy with it when its done. Lucky sod!

Same material will go into rz pv bushes.....
i got my sintered bushing material from mc master carr.
350LC,Athena 392 big bore,stock porting,swiss cheese air box,stock reeds,spec11 pipes.(now TSA big bore pipes)

Mark the issue for us with Mc Master is that they wont ship here :(

If they sold cintered bar stock id buy it,so hard to find that material over here.
Plus i like farting around on the machines,its good therapy lol.

Finally......the Fonda engine is painted. Have had all the engine & frame bolts,screws etc etc zinc plated or chromed. Can finally bolt the fkn thing together.

2 sweet days for a change Jon.This was done with the KBS hi temp paint,such a bastard to find & abit exy but well worth it. USed the new gravity feed which is what they recommend with this paint,worked very very nicely.Cant wait to try it out on some body work now.

Yes.....the gold lined thinner lol.Exy yes but works well so far.
Engine in, plus other parts hanging off it now....

ohhh look how clean and nice all those fixings are! like new...

Did you also use KBS Chassis paint for the frame?

With the engine in and triples on, this could be a roller very soon! keep stopping to snap those pics, we all live vicariously thru any build :D

YUmmmm new parts! Looks so clean and nice. Good work. Its going to seriously freak out the owner when he sees whats been done as I dont think that non restorers/builders understand that it takes a long time to gather parts, clean up old parts, look for more bits etc and during that time nothing seems to be happening as its all going in boxes, awaiting days like these.

Always nice to remind yourself where youve come from to give you some impetus:
