A word of warning, make sure those mounts are very firm, the fan is strong and will eat your radiator if it slips or they bend. I would try and use the third mounting if you can.

Tim- do you have the fan polarity wired as puller? Pretty sure that's the intended function when mounted behind.

Thanks for the responses. It is quite firm and took considerable force to bend the brackets into position for placement. I can drill a small safety wire hole where the 3rd brace was mounted and safety it pulling back for added safety but I don't think it will move.

no worries, I just worry about something that has this much power spinning rapidly behind the thin ally rad, I mounted mine quite close to the rad (ala R6) so had to be sure it was solid in my application. I figured with the awful pot holed roads we have here in Aus that hitting a bump could spell disaster if i wasnt careful etc.

Anyway, they are great fan with lots of power and designed for a bike so you know the environment it lives in wont kill it like it could other products.

Liberated a spare Lawnboy tank with working petcock.from my parts.pile. Fan works like a champ...and so far no leaks....
