Not so sure a "bicarb blaster" is the way to go for a carburetor. It obviously does a great job on the visible hardened deposits but what about the internal passages that also get plugged with resins?

depends what you want to achieve as you say, I would still US clean a carb, but even then I would still use carb cleaner and air. they clog up horribly :(

Oh i didnt add the pic of the u/s machine. But your spot on Roger you should follow up blasting with a good ultra sonic cleaning....

supermarket bi-carb is small particles, don't know about the horse stuff though

Look up a company called Redox to buy in bulk for industrial strength
