Hi Stig, check the cable (wire) at the clutch arm end. (Under the carbs). It will often come off there when you remove the lever.

The cable and lever is fine...

It is like the clutch has been "over pulled" when i was dismounting the cable and the clutch has locked and wont release itself again...

The clucth arm didn´t return after tension.

Hope it makes sense... Engwish not first lagunes :smt002

I'd drop the oil and pull the case. You might have broken plates.

Completly forgot about returning with the clutch issue and solution :smt015

When removing the clip on´s, i heard a little noise... like when your dropping a 5mm nut to the floor, you didn´t see were it landed and start to wonder if you heard rigth, because the sound has nothing to do with the work your doing... Yes?? :smt048

I grabbed my Haynes manual, read about the clucth adjustment, dismantling and removing the clutch, got my tool and on with it... :smt038

I ended up with doing it five times :smt042

Step by step, before deciding that there is nothing wrong with the clutch... i have done it rigth according to the book :smt017

Thinking very hard about it :smt017 I remembered the litle noise i had heard and whent backwards to where it all startet and looking at the lever and cableadjuster...cable beeing ca. 1cm to long.... :smt018

Was that the sound???... and extra customized cable adjuster, that i made years ago do to the long cable...FUUUUUUUUUCK ME!!!! :smt021 :smt021

No further questions your Honor :smt086

The clutch is now in a god working order :smt002 :smt023
