Wish you would pick a venue that held more people. Filled up so quick. Maybe next year.

Fontana Village and several places in Robbinsville should have lodging. It does fill up quickly at DGMR though.... The 2 stroke group books the entire motel. Looks like I'll be getting my RZ back on Sat afternoon so will scurry to pretty it up. I haven't ridden it in one year!

The price of the other venues will keep me away.

just got back from a week in NC , fantastic weather.
had issues with the LC but this was due to a lack of time for prep.
had a bowl drain screw fall out, a throttle cable wriggle out of the carb piston,a clip come of the needle and finally lost a baffle on the mountain which ended the LC duty.
the H1 needed work to run good but with a great group of guys ,we figured it out.
and the GT750 wasn't charging the battery but still ran like a champ.
and one rider who had a big "off" but was actually relatively unscathed (rz was a bit banged up though)
highly recommend it if you can get there ,it was 1000 miles from texas but worth the trip.

Was there a 2015 meet? I'd forgotten about it until today, never saw anything posted.

It was all last week Chris. I was not able to make it this year. Hit me up when you may want some RZ company to schedule a ride. Take care.

This is a two stroke event centered at Deal's Gap Resort. The entire hotel is reserved for the week by 2-stroke folks with many more attendees reserving rooms in the surrounding area. It is largely an unstructured event with no registration fee. Generally Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki owners attend but any 2-stroke is welcome. There is usually five or more RZs that show up along with many H1, H2, Suzuki GTs, Ts, etc. Most every day rides are planned with lots of tire kicking in the evening. Of course there is a lot of wrench turning going on in the parking lot. The roads in the area are some of the best in the country for sporty riding or just cruising.
This a great event attended by great folks with spectacular bikes and I strongly recommend all 2-stroke owners make a trip to the Gap in May.
