Hey Evans, I don't even have any pics yet!! Too busy working on race bikes. Post 1 if you have it.
Good to meet you and put a face to the forum posts.

Back to work as we are headed back to Barber next weekend for the WERA nationals and the bike that had the engine issue is 3 points from being in 1st place. !!

I wish I has known so many on the board were going. I live in Anniston and have been to the last five or six Vintage Fests. I used to be a member the the Flora Bama Riders and we helped set up the vendor area on Thursdays. For that, we got a special parking/camping area at the rear of the vendor area.

RZ 350's were coming out of the wood work. I had a leaking float needle valve that I couldn't get replaced in time so I brought my Zuma instead of the RZ. It's a go anywhere little goat. The VJMCC's (Vintage Japanese Motor Cycle Club) had some events scheduled throughout the week end. It's always a good time.

Evans Ward wrote:Tony- it was great to meet and talk with you in the Paddock area at Barber! Sorry to hear about the mishap with one of the race bikes and hope that ya'll were able to get it back together for racing before the weekend ended. The 421 bike you had there was by far one of the nicest bikes I saw all week! Hope we didn't drool on it! Truly a work of art, Hoping that John Evans might have a pic or two to upload so all can see your expert craftsmanship. If you get a chance Tony, please type an update on how your team did.

I remember that bike. My son and I always prowl the pits looking for interesting bikes.

Looks sharp Tony, those little silencers must be conversation killers.

Rode over with four other guys from Atl but didn't want to take I-20 (yawn), so we wandered to a southern route and were blown away with amazing roads! Fast curves and empty. Who knew these were there?
