I got invited to go up to Spanaway Washington to join the Angry Bee's ride #4 this weekend. It was a great event put on by some diehard 2 stroke guys. We met up at the Lemay Marymount Museum, which is a pretty cool place! There was a total of 18 or 19 smokers that showed up plus two diesel's. Mostly RD's and RZ's, but also a newer Husky 250 Super Moto and some Yamaha DT enduro's. There was 66' Yamaha Big Bear, a Suzuki GT 185, and a 62' Bultaco.
Then while we were getting ready, somebody said "hey, check out all the cougars!!" Well, guys being guys we all spun around only to find a parade of Mercury Cougars driving in. There was a club having an event there also. Some very nice rides!!
After picture taking we headed out for about a 100 mile ride on some nice scenic back roads. Then stopped for lunch, had to bump start one of the RD's, then back to the museum for a raffle and bike judging.
As I said before it was a well organized event and look forward to doing it again next year!
Here's the pics....
