Isohexane for cleaning?

#1 Post by LC Cnd » Wed Jun 10, 2015 9:17 pm

I have a signal switch that is highly carbonized and intermitately working. If I flick my finger against the side of the switch it will engage sometimes. Advised to clean the contacts, with isohexane, before buying new switch. Has anyone else had success with the solvent?
