anyone know what the swg of the main harness is on the early RZs.

350LC,Athena 392 big bore,stock porting,swiss cheese air box,stock reeds,spec11 pipes.(now TSA big bore pipes)

Probably 'Not big enough at least in relation to the alternator to reg wires, but irrelevant as connector took one for the team.
Just wire it all in 18awg and you'll never have problems again. Except maybe routing. Or turning the handlebars.

Sadly I recently bought some to redo the RZ Ignitech ignition. But I can't remember the gauge I used. Modern automotive thin wall can cope with more current but I'd not go undersized.
I used this sort of stuff from these chaps but you'll find something more local.

Hmm, nope no receipt . Measures about 1.4 odd mm so probably the 28 strand. I also bought the size up for power and coil, but that was a swine to get into the tiny pins of the Ignitech and way overkill.
