The TZ250S seat definitely looked the best to me, but I feel it would need to be shortened to look right. I ended up using a TZ250G tank and TZ250H seat and made a new subframe.

Now that is just killer! Nice work.

Top end goes on after the cases are in and visa versa.

Yes, it's a `71 matching numbers car with a 400ci and the some-what rare sandalwood interior.

I'm very jealous. The Firebirds are on my favourites list, right after a few Mopars. I've owned a couple over the years. Often think about bailing on bikes and going back to 4 wheel classics.

I like it too. The tank and the seat look like they belong together. If you put on a period fairing - it will be an awesome looking machine.

Thanks guys! It's getting an OW31 fairing and done up with OW31 paintwork. Hoping to have it done by next spring.

Swinger is `86 FZ600 with `89 GSXR750 rear wheel, R6 shock. It's a common mod for the RZ, and plenty of threads on the conversion can be found on this site.

The front end is `91 Gixxer 750. I had this front end laying around and was super easy to fit to the frame.
I'm most likely going to go with an R1 front end as the old gixxer stuff is heavy and have long forks.

The tank took some work to get it to fit. I had to cut the bottom out of the front half as the TZ tank have a sump that extends below the frame rails. It allowed me to recess the bottom to keep the electronics in the stock location with room to mount a smaller battery so all the electrics will be hidden under the tank. I also had to relocate the petcock to the rear of the tank.
