Would be cautious about the Indian tanks. I have heard the same thing said from multiple places, decent finish and nice product on their own for the price but whatever they used to for the final shape is wrong. Multiple bikes, but not the RZ ones. Local shop had a story about how they took a $1200US bath couriering one back to India as they were charged to their account rather than being paid by receiver.

I'm a step closer to making tanks. I now have a welder, new. Need to spend a small bundle to get the TIG accessories. I'm going to give Birdcages a crack first. I also purchased tube benders. I'll keep you all posted, as I progress. Still working on the garage and getting rid of the BMW car parts.
The plan is to make steel tanks initially and then give aluminum a try. Could be a two or three year project and development.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to see what you come up with manufacturing them.

I know there are some quams about the carbon or fiberglass tanks but I could likely have one ready before May. I know the idea of tanks keep coming up so I may pull a mold while I am at it with some other bits.
