Spec II Fairing shaking
Does anyone have issues with the Spec II fairing shaking around when hitting bumps?

Re: Spec II Fairing shaking
The orig Spec 2/Telefix fairing was the strongest best built highest quality fairing offered for the RZ.
However...the mounting kit , is a retrofit unit..which as you, I remember too well it moving all over the place, wiggling & rattling, I remember issues w the headlight housing as well. I recall many speedwobbles from that thing catching air especially when my friends came blasting by me on much faster bikes & the draft would create all sorts of chassis movement due to the flex & loose play...lol
Not much you can do except regularly tighten all the brackets and nuts & bolts.
Truthfully its not too unlike any other add on retro fit aftermarket mounting kits same goes for Airtech stuff, its nuts & bolts & , not fixed.
The two Spec 2 units I had did have some pain in the ass nylon slip fit collars..they always...always came loose. I dont know if thats what you or others get today? I bought mine over 30 years ago.
The best solution would to weld fixed mounts @ the steering head, sides & lowers..but thats a big commitment & expense for many.

Re: Spec II Fairing shaking
I'm thinking of adding additional supports to the bottom part of the Headlight mounting to help triangulate the mount.
