I found an "A" seat lock on EBay. It's pretty easy to take apart. Just take off the three screws on the back cover of the lock with the cover side up and carefully note where everything is for later reassembly. The only tricky thing is the retaining wafer. You can access that from the backside once you remove some of the mechanism and don't need a master key to remove the lock cylinder. From the backside, I just pushed the retaining wafer down with a small jeweler's screwdriver and slowly pushed the lock cylinder out the front. The tumbler wafers aren't key type (i.e. "A, "B", etc.) specific. With the wafers I had from the newly acquired lock and my old lock, I was able to get 4 of 5 wafers to match in my key. I simply left 1 wafer slot blank.

You can also file them down to make the tumblers work, I re-key all my bikes so I have 1 key to open all locks, I keep all old locks so I can swap the pins around and file the ones I dont have to make them work..

I do too tacky, collecting tumblers has become a hobby in itself, Ive harvested them from all sorts of locks, not just yamaha of course as yam didnt make these.

Ive just been doing some ignition switches for my bikes from bashed and trashed ones ive got. clean, blast, paint, powder, dry lubricant and a new set of tumblers and a sticker and they come up like new. Same with helmet locks; reform the cap, sort out the tumblers, lube ad refit in newly powdered and zinc'd parts. Perfect.

Oh, there are lots of others doing the same. I have many bungged locks that I've kept. I've yet to start rebuilding them though.

This forum is awesome though. So many throw out stuff because is broken, thinking it's junk. Here's a great example of "junk" to keep, especially if you have lots of parts, as many of us do.
