Cell/Mobile phone attachment

#1 Post by LC Cnd » Sat Dec 23, 2017 1:11 pm

Magine this question fits under body mods. Come Spring like to have my cell phone attached to my instrument cluster for mapping into new territory or where I can find ethanol free fuel. Want to know I if any one has fabricated or found aftermaker bracket that actually fits an RD or RZ, as positioned in the noted photo (or further down for ignition access), worry free of going airborne while resonably going thru the twisties. Thx Scott.

All depends on how much ya wanna spend. They make them for mountain bikes so should be fine on a road bike i reckon.

Those Oz prices got me thinking the motorcycle ones are way over priced here in Canada. Like the idea of using your cell phone (& holder) as a vid option with the go pro as a camera #2.

Like the ingenuity of this guys idea for 5 cents but question the strength of it all. Hmm.

The strength would be the biggest thing for me, my phone is worth $1200 so probably deserves an expensive bracket.

This one looks like it would work well on the center section of the bar?

Today purchased this water proof & touch sensitive case for $11 tax incl. Will see if its readable in the sun or vibration to learn if its worth it. Keys accessible after some mods to the bracket.

Check it well, before riding!

I had a $1300 usd video camera fall off my RZ.

Killed it. :smt022

Got lock washers all around but your right, no guarantee. Sorry to hear about the camera - where abouts was it perched?

Suction cup mount on the tank.

Thinking back, it might have been on the NS400R.
