Great post Thanks. My new purchase came with a new tail solo seat and I,ve been trying to work out the last day or two how to take it off

The one that came on my rz is not fiberglass but abs plastic- anyone know the origins? Someone said it might be a factory yamaha tail piece. Looks same as the airtech piece only not fiberglass

I was told and have read the original was of ABS construction.

OEM was ABS plastic

If either of you (Trent1000 or RD400Fiend) don't like the plastic ones let me know, I wouldn't mind one. I might have a set of late model rearsets to throw in to sweeten the deal (not otherwise for sale).
