CMS Shows it as available, and then generally means Yamaha has it.
http://www.cmsnl.com/search/partnumber. ... modelcode=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A couple of new ones on fleabay, http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_trksid=p ... &_from=R40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or you can by the whole thing from Colin (2smoke) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/89-Yamaha-rz350- ... ac&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good to know. Thanks for the replies. The one Silverstrom sold me is like new, ie. not dried or cracked up. From now on I'll dig deeper even if I get the NLA message. I often have good luck just googling part numbers. You guys often come up when parts are googled. Its funny google searches this site better the than the search fuction on here.

$39 for the whole assembly is a great price. I would buy that one, but already sorted it out. Starting to source engine parts, so I'd be calling you John, its still unknown what I need. Probably one of everything lol.

I won"t keep saying this but Siverstrom is the a pleasure to deal with. If he has what you need go for it. He is more efficient than a professional wrecker. Plus his enthusiasm is contagious. You"ll also get helpful info if you ask nice.

Even though its not relevant to anything here, this is my thread so I"ll share. Yesterday traveling between Suttons pass and Port Alberni I hit some black ice and flipped our xterra with my three year old and and her bunny with us. I'm so relived my little girl and her bunny are unharmed. Mom has a broken finger as is traumatized. I just feel like I've been body checked into next week.
It was black ice and the RCMP and witnesses concur. Coming out of a curve we started to fish tail and hit a median on the side of the road. We flipped onto the roof and slid for what seems like eternity. The roof rack seemed to act like ski's.
I'm so grateful to be alive with my family in tact. Life is good, cherish every second. Love your family and remain stoked.
Within a few hours we were all discharged from west coast general hospital, and in a rental homeward bound. We woke up today in our own beds.....what a gift, and miracle.

WOW! Glad you and your family are ok Gord. Must have been a terrifying experience, especially for the little one. Looking at where you ended up it seems the best possible outcome from an awful situation. Hope all heal well, and heal soon.

Thanks for thinking about us. The adrenaline crash set in and we're feeling it.
The little one faired better than anyone. She's up and running at day care telling others her car fell over. I guess they'll have trauma counselling next week. We'll make the best of it and carry
cheers Gord.

I didn't notice how much of a drop was on the other side until I saw the photo. I hate heights and thats my nightmare. Modern techongy saved our asses.
Thanks for the kind thought. Back when I was three, there is no way we would have been in a 5 point car seat. I'm so relieved to see my girls smiling face this morning.

Sorry guys. Last concussion has left it hard for me to concentrate on computer related activities. Greatly improving everyday. I really want to post up some photos of the status of my restoration as I plan on starting her up next week in hopes to ride it for a couple months. I guess this thread should have gone into member rides as it will be a riding restoration for awhile.
It will still be a year until its 100% done, still will have to refinish the gas tank, rebuild the bottom end, then decals and paint. This will happen as I love these bikes and nothing will stop me
The next photo is a picture take a couple days ago. Lately I've been doing more wrenching than blogging so I'm close to starting her up.
As well as the current photo I'll post up pictures of parts acquired and work done over the last year.

Ha Ha JonW. yes you're the original when it comes to the 85 restoration. yep you recognize your influence thanks for the encouragement. I guess we don't have to worry about bumping into each other at the stop sign.

Thanks Rory for the props. You sure are showing unlimited stoke on your resto. Glad I 'm not the only fanatic
Cheers
