It was a treat to ride, a first for me. Absolute torque monster, polar opposite of the RZ. Not really my cup of tea. Very composed, easy to ride fast. The seating position, very tight like my RZ set-up, almost identical.
Todd has a number of bikes all over the spectrum. I have a number of bikes, all along the same lines...RZ,RZ,RZ,RS,RZ...you get the idea. Todd also used to race, loves it!

Bryan, you, like Todd are very diversified. Must be part of that northern air. I may get there yet. Have a few bikes to build and sell. We'll see what they net me, if anything.

I sent Russ a solo for his '85, and two days later he sends me this pic.

I went out on a Motard track night on Monday the 21st at the not so local go cart track. Lots of fun! I just had a good look at this pic. 2 Stroke habits, 2 fingers on the clutch...but looking at my vintage, 1984 Fox boots, noticed that I was banging up another gear going through this corner.

This evening, I was at Von Zippers. Geoff took my RZ for a little spin. He rode back in with a big grin on his face. "The hardest hitting, fastest RZ350 that I've ever ridden". That sure feels good. I also know that there are faster RZs out there, but my bike is running great on the needle and main. Still waiting for the pilots.
I have to start the F2 build asap.

I just received my pilot jets this evening. I'll have to pop them in the carbs asap. Hopefully the 25s will lean out my idle to needle stumble. I'll get back to you as soon as I know.

We had a good 2 stroke gathering and ride last weekend. It was not planned as such. It just happened that way. Lots of fun.

Later in the day at the swap meet. I had to hook up my clutch cable as the retainer had buzzed off, and the cable popped out.

I managed to install the 25 pilots in my bike today. Seems crisper and way more responsive. I've yet to test ride. Tomorrow, I hope.

I rode the bike today. Much better. Didn't go far enough though. On the way home from work, I lost a cylinder to what I believe to be a fowled plug. I'll get back to you once I've checked.

Winter is fast approaching for us in Alberta.

:smt022 Summer just showed up in Ontario, hottest week of the year this week. Hopefully we get the usual full autumn after it's done too. Hard to believe the leaves are changing colour and it's mid 30's every day. (the crying smiley is meant to be sympathetic, not mocking)

Lol. My parents are in Mississauga. The news tells us everyone is enjoying the warm freaky weather. Our mornings are often 2 degrees now, but many are still riding.

I installed hotter plugs and things seem good now.

Rode it from my garage to home, about 22 kms in 2C weather. Had to avoid ice on the bridges. She really flies with the dense air...but the tires don't work at all. Feels like the lugs are full of mud, really crappy.

A little mini's and Motard racing today. Two endurance races. My partner and I managed a podium, 3rd in the mini's. 4th in the Motard.
