Good to see you again, Evan and Peter. Thanks for the fork sliders and box of goodies Evan. Much appreciated.

Friday, I didn't go to work, sick. I did manage to pick up some parts from Evan, and see Peter too. I spent the whole day in bed, wiped out. Saturday was my turn at work, struggled through 4 hours. Not very busy. Steve came in to help out up front and man were they hopping up there. It was his day off, but the boss went to see his mother 6 hours away. Other then walking the dog, I rested/slept.
Today I spent 3 hours at a mini train park for my grandson's 2nd birthday party, a little early, albeit. Then I went home and slept all afternoon. Not the way I had pictured spending the long weekend. I have tomorrow off too. Hopefully I'll accomplish some work on the build.
No energy in this camp!

Oh, I changed the title of this thread from F2 to F1, because it has changed to that since I managed to make the trip to AirTECH to have them do the alterations to the moulds for the F2.
Update from AirTECH: expecting a package sometime this week, and the mould for the F2 altered seat is in the finishing steps. Altered hardware is also on it's way. The first batch of seats should be sent soon.

I did a little more this evening, but I spent almost 4 hours, cleaning the rear upper fender and trimming it for the shock.

I just warmed my inner fender up with a heat gun and shaped it to clear the reservoir, but had to trim the inboard front of the chain guard.

Rebuilt the forks and stripped the wheels of brakes to start prepping for paint tonight. Have not found a chain guard yet. That will come. Popped the forks on. Starting to take shape. Have worked out which engine I'm going to use, and have some challenges concerning that. I need this thing on the road a sap, as rolling advertising. Must test the tank for Canadian fuel. Going to run pods and Toomies. Have to make a battery box. Accomplished quite a bit tonight. Running out of steam.

Rory,

I have a bunch of chain guards just not sure which fits the RZ...Likely have one that would work for you.

Anna and I installed her driver door window today and it's working great. Then she helped me strip the paint on the F2 wheels that I'm going to use on the '84 AirTECH build.

I spent today plumbing air from my new compressor to my tire machine and a manifold to run 3 lines off of. Then I stripped the first tire off a rim. I'm a step closer to being much more functional in my shop. Anna is helping me get rid of stuff. Sold a window air conditioner today, and more stuff on it's way to a garage sale.
I have an extremely lofty goal of showing this bike at a function we have in Calgary next weekend: Two Wheeled Sunday. I plan on riding it there, but doubt that the paint will be finished...and likely no guages. We shall see if I can possibly pull this off. Not likely.

I think I'm ok for the guard, thanks Evan.

Today, I started to clean and strip the '88 F2 that I was riding last year. It is donating it's borowed engine and will get it's matching one back. I had to pick up a bit of the garage after yesterday's anctics. Make room to work. Took me a while to assess the situation. Should get a lot more done tomorrow.

Tonight I was stripping the doner bike. Unhooked cables, dropped coolant removed chain, and gave the wheels a major application of ELBOW grease with some aggressive steel wool. Should be able to paint those tomorrow night.

Managed to get the engine out and need to prep it to go into the build. Also painted the wheels.
