I'm still alive. Chasing down 4 34mm Lectron carbs. Hope I can get my hands on them.
Rented out the house and moved in with the GF.
My son's beat up R6 found it's way into my garage. He wants to work on fixing it after he's in better shape. Progress is very slow. He's not supposed to walk again. Left leg is moving well. Right foot is starting to come around. He just started full time school again.
Weather in Calgary has been the $h!tz all summer. My garage is still unfinished and cluttered, but my situation is improving. I've sold 3 BMW cars this year and a motherload of parts, wheels, are rolling out.
I should get the lay off in the next 2 weeks or so, school is looming and I need to finish that garage with the new daily structure after the season ending layoff.
Pics will start up as I start my builds. Steve and I have been talking about builds, options. The world is my oyster. So much I can do with 10 bikes at my disposal. Stay tuned.

Well, I got the big Lay Off Oct.14th. SSSince then, I finished sheeting the ceiling in the garage, walls too. Put up shelving, loaded them up and created some space. The heat is on. All the bikes are in there and my son's R6 as well. I always thought I had 10 RZ350s. I think I have 11. I'll have to confirm that once I go through everything. I believe that officially makes me a sick individual, maybe a hoarder? Thoughts?
I'm much closer to getting started on the bikes. I've been going through all the bins, over 80. Sorting, selling, chucking, and donating. I hung 2 RZ350 frames from the ceiling, an '85, and a '90. They will get assembled as I go through all the parts, when I have more room to work.
I bought and had a 60 gallon compressor installed, found and purchased a tire machine that does cars and bikes, which I will install when space permits. I also purchased an industrial sewing machine so I can make seat covers for bikes and cars.
I picked up the 34mm Lectrons.
Wow, things are finally happening.

Good to hear Rory! I was over there not too long ago and things are definitely looking better. That said, Rory has a TON of stuff!

Any chance you have a spare F2 lower fender I can buy?

Polar bear piss!

I'm still at it. Floor space is slowly expanding. I'm Selling stuff almost daily. I have been purchasing bins for nut and bolt storage, organizers for my multitude of sockets. Stacking tools I find in one locale. I hung another frame. Have started to assemble all my fluids in one spot as well. It's gruesome work, painfully slow. Gives me lots of time to ponder my build options.
Going to the Calgary motorcycle show tomorrow, hopefully meeting Peter and his wife, Keiiy. I have to run a donation bin to the Goodwill. Been doing a lot of that lately too. so far this year has been productive. I'll keep the updates trickling in.

Received 3 Banshee top end kits today. 2 Banshee heads are on their way. Sold more stuff out of my garage as well. The black hole is moving on and I'm gaining space. I've started buying new bike parts and getting things organized. Steve and I have been comparing builds, but mine is still up in the air at the moment. We are both going to do +4 strokers, but totally different.
Cleaned out around the work bench and have been working on another forum member's bike. I'm looking forward to this season. I'd like to start building 3 bikes this summer. I want to get Anna on an RZ as well. (She had been riding for 3 years, and now has had a couple off). She likes the feel of the stock seating of the RZ, and quite frankly, I don't. Hence the different builds.

Any time you make it to the northern mainland you're welcome to experience the Canadian hospitality. We have the goods here and lots to see as well. There are a few of us likely, more than willing to talk your ears off and listen to a few stories too. Don't worry about Cilantro. He'll bark at you for 30 seconds and leave you alone, if you leave him alone and don't take any RZ goodies...or RZs...or RSs...

Ok, so this thread title is wrong...the thread is old with very little to show for it. I'm driving down to AirTECH soon, with 2 bikes to have the Canadian F2 fitted properly for a YZR350 seat kit, by AirTECH. They will then make molds and offer these for sale. They are also working on a hardware kit for the F2, to fit the existing YZR fairing kit.
This thread will now document that adventure and show my first build. It will be an '84 RZ350 frame with a few upgrades, including a YZR replica kit, RZ350 fibreglass tank, F2 forks, pipes of some sort and pods, with a bit of dyno work. Nothing too crazy, but a decent platform that I can test the AirTECH stuff with and show along side of my stock F2.
I also put some money down today on a plethora of RDLC barrels and RZ parts. Things that I need for my multiple builds. I have some ideas of what I want to build, and am now amassing the parts to pull it all off. There will be nothing too radical. The bikes will reek of what I like in RZ/YZR styling. Pictures will soon follow, about another month.
AirTECH sent me a couple of pics today of my order in various states of production. I'm starting to get excited about the business as it is taking shape.
I feel like a kid again. Many toys and visions.
