New project on its way home thanks to my amazing better half that drove over 1200kms to pick it up for me while i was at work,owe you big time Dianne. :smt007

Yep good wife happy life! My missus saw a guy wearing a t-shirt at the barry sheene festival she wants to buy me. It had on the front ( honey I swear this is my last bike) and on the back was a picture of a hand with crossed fingers.

Little update,seeing as though the N1 is sorta finished. .....for now lol,time to move on with the LC. Jon W helped me out in a big way in finding me matching numbers frame & engine,thanks Jon.
Garrett on this forum came through with a set of 350 barrels & head for me,so thats sorted,crank being sent away for rebuild & started work on the engine....

wow, the innards are a clean as we had hoped. What a bizarre bike that was, would have been lovely if it hadnt been left in the open for years :/

Ahh, witty man :) So... did you break the easyout ...or did the bolt end come out as easy as they promise, but rarely deliver?

I'm with Jon. I haven't had much success with easy-outs. Easy-breaks...yes. Maybe the press is a better approach?
