I am new to this forum. I have a 1975 RD350B that I have owned for 35 years. I neglected it for a while, and am in the process of getting it running again. I have rebuilt the carbs,was attempting to install them back into the Y-boot and am having problems getting the carb into the boot. I should also say, the only parts that are not original from the day it left the factory, is the air filter, tires, and rear brake shoes. I have tried heating up the boot to make it more pliable, but the carb just won't sit in the boot. I know I can order a new one from Yamaha, but this one is still good I believe. Any suggestions, recommendations will be helpful.
