Up-side-down gear pattern ensures your foot is not trapped under the shifter and rubbing the ground through corners as you gear up on exits. It's a race thing. Punch down through the gears. Takes a little while to get used to.

Tony, I would be interested in hearing your impression of it installed on an RZ. I ride my bike from when the snow leaves in spring until it returns again in November, and I do not like to rejet for the weather. My riding season has a 50 F temperature range so my jetting is far from optimal on a hot day and this might be the answer to my prayers, having every ride the same as that cool damp morning when I don't want to stop at work because it is running so good.

Hi Rusty,

I am doing a complete Dyno test, road test, and evaluation write up on 2 products this week. The Torque wing and the Dial-A-Jet. It should be done next week and I will post it here. Test are being done on a Serval 421cc cylinder kit. 34mm Flat slide Mikuni's and then a set of 28mm flat slides as well.

We run them on all our race bikes. All the riders swear by them as they increase throttle response, acceleration, and top power. The amount varies between all the different engine specs. The test I will be doing is a on a street bike and geared to the average rider.

Will you be sharing the dyno results of these tests here? If so would be nice read about the results, I'm especially interested in the 28s as eventually I have decided on a set of Mikuni 28 flatslides. Possibly taper bored & perhaps fitted w intellijet and/or this product if it proves beneficial for a trackday/street bike? But Im also i trested in the power jet addition ss well. Just have concerns as to spending the xtra $300-$400 for a
bike that is just for personal track fun not competition ????

Very interested to hear your thoughts on the torque wing, is it one of those quad wing inserts?

I think a lot of people dismiss stuff like that but to me it does make sense, I can see why it would work particularly on smaller throttle openings. Any small modification out there that might speed up the airflow rolling on the throttle sounds good to me.. I have 38mm mikuni TMX flat slides on my 443 cheetah cub and would certainly be interested in buying a set once I've heard your findings/seen a dyno back to back test.

Problem with a lot of this stuff is no one ever bothers to actually do a back to back dyno run, so all you get is internet forum speculation

Hey Tony, glad to hear things are progressing.
Since your race guys are running 28's and 34's, what are they using for intake boots. reeds and cages? I have just picked up two sets of 34mm Lectrons. I'm going to build a bike that I'd like to race at Daytona and Laguna, bucket list, and some drag racing. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I will be posting all the dyno charts. I will start a new post specifically for the Torque Wing/ Dial-A-Jet test in the engine section to keep it seperate from this post but put a direct link from here.

Just bogged down with work, out of town for the Holidays. Now that the bike is on the dyno , it is acting up so I have to call DynoJet on Monday. Results should be interesting for sure.
