bp, there are lots of rz/rgv builds out there, some in the custom section on here and also plenty on the RDLCcrazy forum. my own website has my LC and my RZ builds using RGV parts with lots of info on there. Hence why i mentioned the search, there is so much info out there that you would be better reading up and comming back with something more specific as most things have already been covered and written up on the RGV stuff, its very common as its a simple fit. My own wesbite hosts the plans for the parts needed even for the RZ if you have a look.

If youre new to forums coming from social media you might be surprised at how much info is on a forum and once you start searching you will become addicted. The reason I asked about google is that i see many people ask questions on facebook etc and when you run a simple google search all the info can be right there on page one.

Anyway, have a look and come back with questions. We are here to help, a good few of us have been down this route.

Yeah have done some searching but it look like a lot of pics have been taken down or something wrong at my end that won't open them.

Specifically looking for measurements for engine position RE: output shaft in relation to swing arm pivot and crank centre. Output shaft position in relation to centre line through rear axle to swing arm pivot with arm in full extended position.

Cheers

EDITED: ignore this post, see the one below....

The output shaft in relation to swing arm pivot and crank centre will be the same as a normal RZ as that doesnt change.

The output shaft position in relation to centre line, through rear axle to swing arm pivot with arm in full extended position will be different as the length of the swingarm is slightly longer IIRC. Assuming I understand what youre asking.

Im not sure what youre planning if youre looking for this info, dropping the RGV swinger in the RZ is pretty simple, the bit people used to struggle with was the linkage to operate the shock and thats what the plans cover. I didnt write them, just host them. NK engineering in the uk sell a kit for that as well now.

Ahh ok, just seen this... now I get it. What youre looking to do is much tougher than what people usually do, which is put RGV front and rear ends on an RZ.

The RZ into RG is easy enough and pretty common, but the RGV is not often seen at all. I had a friend looking to do this a few years back and contacted NK, but i dont remember what they told him, might be worth asking there as they do lots of this work and will have looked into it.

They sell the conversion parts, or a complete kit for what you're looking to do I think.

Go back in the history of this particular forum and you can view my build. I have included many pics. Good luck with your build!
