i was arguing big tires syndrome simply because too much people believe that the bigger the tyres are , the faster the bike is

it's your bike , you do it the way you want , estheticly , it's sweet to have big tyres , no doubt , i also have some with bigger wheels on some of my bikes

but i have nothing to prove , if you want to see what i've done , search , nearly all my bikes have done track days or races in old area ..... i won't repply to those kinds of attacks ( i don't feel it's humour ... )

and the point is that stock or close to stock sizes are the fasters sizes on track , i don't talk about cruising on road , i talk about racing , the last bike i built for a friend to race is just as fast as the ICGP champion's one of the year so i guess it works   and faster than one of the best bimota TZ 350 ever built , it uses stock barrels and no big bore etc etc and 26SS carbs ( for fun :-D )

i hoped that some of the stupid foreigner classification was not used here but , it seems that the USA2str*er forum spirit expands even here

do what you want but don't argue to be faster that me please or win a national/continental championnship before :-D

Hi SEB, sorry if it was my comment that offended, it was only meant to clear up which side of the channel you are on for those who aren't on the UK forum.

Charlie,

The Kawasaki tapered roller bearings ... SSK100 is the part number? Will I need year-model too to pick up a set?

No year necessary. 713-610 is sudcos order #, SSK-100 is the manufacturer part#.

1 bearing is a mm thinner, the other 1mm thicker than the stock RZ bearings.

I used a 10mm spacer for now. might go a bit shorter at the bottom and add another spacer up top. Still rather go this route than adapting the stock rz stem to the modern triple.

Hoping to get my frame done this winter.. Been out of the RZ thing for a little while but I hate seeing all these nice parts laying around doing nothing.

We shall see what winter brings. :)

Geez. I used to get so defensive.
I've had an itch but I have fear that I won't scratch it, again.

Picked up a 2007 SV650 frame to put all these parts on.
Not sure how its going to work and I know the RZ tank won't look right on there but at least a fire will be lit under my ass to get this bike going.

I've began going through all my stuff and am excited with what I have.

Some repetition here but due to the time passed I'll repeat myself.

Lomas pipes with cf cans.
Zeel programmable ignition system.
2006 (?) GSXR600 front forks, trees, wheel, brakes, levers etc.
CF front fender
F4i rear shock.
R1 gauges (might change).
Standard gsxr rear swing arm.
2006 (?) GSXR600 rear wheel.
Recently rebuilt stock discplacement RZ350 engine. Trued and welded crank, pinned bearing etc.
35mm PWK's.
A lot of other stuff I'm forgetting.

Looking forward to picking up my parts in storage and bringing them home.
Frame will be here Tuesday. Thinking I'll get everything together this weekend along with a space to work on it.

Last time I had mocked up the original frame.
