TZR 3XV 535 Project

Hi Glyn,
Sorry no up dates for a while.
Family ill health has curtailed progress.
The bike is almost finished with just the odd few jobs to do, so just the colour scheme - painting to finish it. However this will have to wait for a while.
I will up date you when I have more time.
Best regards.
Peddro.

ive got about 500 miles on it so far...No issues at all... nothing braking, no leaks, seems to be pretty darn good, well except for the milage LOL
Wish I had oil injection as well, im putting that on my new project. Do it! The TTS has a kit for it...buy the RZ side case new for $60 add the TSS pump etc... The lockup clutch might be an issue. The clutch does drag a bit, Im thinking a beefy basic clutch with strong springs and a hydraulic clutch is probably much better....

Hi,
Sorry for the delay in posting.
Well its now up & running on the road.
It still needs a bit of fine tuning on the jetting but not bad so far.
Link to album:-

It took a bit longer than I wanted as the winter was so cold it made making all the carbon parts a bit of a pain as the epoxy is temp sensitive.
I am not so good on the internet so hope the photos show up if not use the link.
Best regards
Peddro

Thanks for sorting out the photos, I am still in the stone age with this computer stuff.
It sounds like a big dirt bike like a CR 500.
The jetting low down is a bit out at the moment as its a bit rich, so its hard to tell, but when it clears it pulls like bl**dy train.
I will sort out the jetting during the next week or 2.

Thanks for the advice on the photos I will have a go later.
The weight of the bike is 123.9kg's
Its a bit heavier than I wanted, the Aprilia Mile front end weighs 1.3 mega tons!
This is one reason for the excess weight.
I can get it lighter during next winter when I have a bit more time, however it wont be that much lighter.
Just starting to modify another swingarm today, it's for a friend of mine, its on a Honda CBR900 RRN & this has got to be finished for the TT races in June so I will be rather busy.
Thanks for the coments
Best regards

Thanks aaronmvrider,
Their is a lot more carbon fiber other than just the fairings & seat unit
Heres an engine casing, the weave on the casing isnt perfect as I had a problem with the vacumm pump when making this, also the radiator mountings, almost all the mounting brackets are carbon, its a hobbie.
The Exhaust's & the front subframe were the only things I had made.
Everything else was made by hand by myself.
Best regards
Peddro

Hi Glyn,
The MOT was easy, passed no problem they gave it a thorough check, apart from the headlight heigh.
"just get get it adjusted & bring it back next week"
Quite funny though, at the MOT station the chap just said "What the Bl**dy Hell is it?"
Slinger:- I am on with you hugger today, just starting to prep the mould, I will be intouch.
