Pink Panther Pink RZ350 - Before & After

Here is short video of one of my RZ350 motorcycles. Baby Groot. Mechanically sorted but cosmetically challenged. Always wanted to paint a vehicle Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge. The top of tank is hand painted. The Yammie racing stripes are vinyl. Vance&Hines race bikes used to use this color but combined yellow into race bike graphics/wheels and if you don't like this particular RZ - then look up the FZR racers from mid 1990's and wonder if we were all color blind. :smt023

I have more detailed videos of "Baby Groot" on the youtube channel.

Looks good.

How come the bikini fairing is so far forward, or does it just look that way in the video?

Needed to bring the front fairing forward to clear the aftermarket perches/levers/reservoirs for brake and clutch because of the clip-on handlebars. This RZ has a hydraulic clutch. It turned out that moving the fairing forward is more aesthetically pleasing to my jaded eye. Good Catch.

Looks good, Maybe some decent unrestrictive exhausts would finish it off...

Yes, I agree. I have them on my other two RZ350. The USA internals on this set of stock pipes have been removed. They are essentially shells. The stock pipes look ugly compared to a cool set of exhausts but these function effectively and I can still run the stock center stand.

Your Pink Panther is cool.
I liked the V&H Yamahas colors. It would have been a good scheme for your RZ. The color scheme was a bit controversial for some. My dealer bought 2 of the FZ600 replicas and sold them both very quickly. I still have a pink and yellow V&H gear bag kicking around.

Nice job on the bike. I like the paint (a lot).

Take it with a grain of salt but, if it was mine I'd need to fix the fairing. Even cutting it to fit would look better than it hanging so far forward.
Different bars, anything to correct that would be worth it.

JMO, YMMV, Do not pass go, do not collect $200, 7 miles to passing zone etc..

Well that pink is a million miles away from the V&H colour but it is captivating. Generally I hate 'artwork' on tanks. But Pinky is cool.
Agree, move fairing backnwould suit.
