Havent updated lately but there hasn't been a ton of changes, cranked on it last night for about 4 hours though.
sorry the pictures suck but it was after midnight and I wanted to go to bed but figured it needed an update.
If we could only buy time.
I got my new rear wheel all mounted, brembo rear caliper mounted.
Rear brake line ran through the swingarm, still need to get my rear rotor machined for weight reduction and more importantly looks.
got the rear brake reservoir completed, required a drill and tap into the frame for a clamp to hold it properly in place.
Worked on some of the wiring getting it shortened and tied up better.
some I left long as I think I want to start it first to make sure things are where I want them, then make the final cut.
got the intake and air filter sorted. the 90 degree elbows do go a bit oval to make the bend but the volume should still be the same, its tight in there.
Also got my new ignition switch keyed and mounted.
Going to pick up some things from the bike shop today, gear oil, new drain bolt washer, some fuel line and a new style fuse holder to upgrade from glass fuses.
also need some radiator hoses and am going to see if I can get my Vapor mounted and then it might be time to kick it over and see if it will run again.
This will be the first time running in this chassis. Its not that far out really.
If things go right maybe I can make smoke this weekend.
Video will be posted if it happens.
here are some pictures to show some updates.
I think this wheel is just damn sexy, no matter the cost it was worth it.
Brake reservoir.
you can see where the brake line goes into the grommet in the swingarm.
Hint for cutting perfect holes into rubber, use a spent .22,9mm, .40 45 etc shell as a punch, they work perfect for this.
Caliper
Some electrical cleaned up a bit
Air filter
Boring old ignition swith but it is progress
Oh and I almost forgot the new radiator
