Erzburg Rodeo - anyone been?

The wife and I are thinking of taking in the Erzburg Rodeo next year. We will fly to Mugello to catch the MotoGP race and then rent a camper to drive up the Italian coast and on to central Austria to catch Erzburg which happens the weekend after.

Getting to Erzburg seems to be the simple part. I assume that camping is available on site from the footage we have seen. However getting around the mine on foot seems problematical at best. I'd love to rent a small dirtybike or pit bike just to get around site.
