Why is the Fun Police screwing with me?

#1 Post by concours » Sun Nov 06, 2016 11:01 pm

Been pulled over 7 times since September... for nothing :smt021 This is the first fairing wearing sport bike I've had (except for the Grampy Grey Concours). My other vintage bikes get no notice.... :smt006 but the RZ.... :smt011 They are all assholian and then when they figure out I'm not 19YO, they begin backpeddling.. WTF? :smt013

Lol.. with my 1st RZ I was 18 yrs old, added Toomey pipes & lost my licence in less than 3 months.

I wont go into details, but my friends & me had a few or more drivers licences ...each [smilie=busted_cop[1].gif] and I recived probably 3 dozen "well deserved" tickets , my friends did the same :smt043. Tickets would immediately be dropped in the trash or on the spot without any care nor worry of consequence..

But the Toomeys attract the heat, like yellow jackets to a picnic. Honestly (in my driving career) I've been pulled over probably 100 times, the cars & bikes and my style, kinda demand it....lol I'm getting better , perhaps by the time im 75 it will start to slow down :smt042

I took a modern Guzzi and made it look older (?), ok more classic. Then gave it loud pipes like old bikes used to have.
Fun Police pass over it thinking its pre-ADR (emission/noise crap).

Hopefully they do the same with the RS485, but full fairing, RED, screaming pipes ........................ and fast! ???????
I'd rather ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow.

I too, had: two tickets before I had my first 16yo drivers license, and dozens of outstanding performance awards. :smt035
I drive 60,000 miles a year now, and my exposure to LEO is huge.
