TDR in tubs

#1 Post by LC Cnd » Sun Feb 04, 2018 10:19 pm

Friend of mine allowed me to sit on his TDR250 - did not realize how compact these beasts are. Quite comfortable like an RD actually. The engine is buggered as the seat was off and moisture slowly drained from the airbox down to the bottom of the engine and rusted the crank. However got the pistions moving. He is going to sell it and I'm tempted to purchase - we'll see how the build goes. Going with black and gold colour scheme. All the parts arrived in 4 large tupper ware tubs until this week it became as pictured. Gunna be an interesting build as finally Spring as sprung locally. Hoo-ra.

Awesome! They are supposed to be super fun. Didn't take you long to find an upgraded chassis just ended up with the dual sport rather than pure TZR!

Try and get more pics time permitting. The attached link is what I'd like sit on next. Heard there was a RVG500 in the neighbourhood. Owner want's $18,000 Cnd. Rather a TDR like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYXoexgNwTc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Seen a few of those, and they do look cool- but I think the RZ350 engine is way better than the RZ500. Can be modified for more power, much lighter, and only have to fit 2 pipes. Would blow away the TDR500.
